After accumulating years of experience with both major “BIG BOX” and smaller plumbing companies, Joshua and Jeremy established themselves as some of Texas’s youngest Master plumbers. Driven by their expertise, they embarked on the creation of a distinctive company. March 2010 marked the inception of Five Star Plumbing, beginning in a small office within Jeremy’s family home and swiftly gaining momentum.

Over subsequent years, Jeremy and Josh expanded the company’s footprint, progressing from a modest office rental off Culebra Road to a more spacious location on Bandera Road. Ultimately, they acquired the property that now serves as the unassuming headquarters of Five Star Plumbing, nestled in the scenic country of Castroville, Texas. However, in 2016, the company faced a devastating setback with the untimely loss of Joshua Blythe at the tender age of 32.

Unfazed, Jeremy Blythe, the younger of the two brothers, persevered, continuing to build on the dreams he and Joshua had envisioned. He welcomed new team members to expand Five Star Plumbing. Tragically, the company experienced another profound loss in August 2021 with the sudden passing of Jeremy Blythe, just 37 years old.

Now transitioning into its third phase of ownership, Abby Blythe, Jeremy’s wife, assumes the responsibility of carrying forward the legacy of Joshua and Jeremy for Five Star Plumbing. As she embarks on this new chapter, Abby is dedicated to fostering a positive, supportive, and “brotherly” atmosphere for Five Star Plumbing employees. Her goal is to extend the company’s reach and support within the community, ensuring the enduring fulfillment of the dreams and dedication of the two brothers.
